We understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. Business meetings, project deadlines, flight delays, car problems, snowstorms, and illness are just a few reasons why one might consider canceling an appointment. In our desire to be effective and fair to all of our clients and out of consideration for our therapists’ time, we have adopted the following policies:

24 hour advance notice is required when cancelling an appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule an appointment.
• If you are unable to give us 24 hours advance notice, you will be charged the full amount of your appointment. This amount must be paid prior to your next scheduled appointment.

Anyone who either forgets or consciously chooses to forgo their appointment for whatever reason will be considered a “no-show”. They will be charged for their “missed” appointment and future service will be denied until payment is made.

Arriving late
Appointment times have been arranged specifically for you. If you arrive late your session may be shortened in order to accommodate others whose appointments follow yours. Depending upon how late you arrive, your therapist will then determine if there is enough time remaining to start a treatment. Regardless of the length of the treatment actually given, you will be responsible for the “full” session. Out of respect and consideration to your therapist and other customers, please plan accordingly and be on time.


Each Independent Contractor that contracts/rents with Body Health & Wellness Massage Therapy is an Independent Contractor, and therefore their own boss. Each Independent Contractor carries insurance and is liable for the massage therapy/other services performed.

Refund Policy
Gift Certificates
: non-refundable, non-transferable.  Must use within 6 months of purchase date.


Must use by expiration date to receive discounted value.  Cash value paid is never lost.

Living Social/Groupon/Fresno Bee Deal Saver:  Must be used by expiration date.  Service must be performed by massage therapist named on coupon.  The individual therapist is paid directly from the advertiser, and he/she is responsible for providing service, not Body Health and Wellness Massage Therapy.  The individual massage therapist is responsible for refunds.  Refunds are left to the Independent Contractor’s discretion.  Ads done as a group will have no individual massage therapists’ name and are refundable through Body Health & Wellness Massage Therapy.  Body Health & Wellness Massage Therapy only honors half of the purchase price.  The other half can be refunded from the advertiser.  No refunds past expiration date.  The price paid for expired coupons can be used toward the toward the original purchase price.  For example, if the client paid $30.00 for a $60.00 massage, then the client would only have to pay $30.00 for the massage.

Refunds due to bad service are at the discretion of each Independent Contractor- Massage Therapist.

Inappropriate Behavior
Any client who acts inappropriately, (sexual advances, vulgar language, inappropriate touching, and harassment), will be asked to pay in full and leave the premises.  We reserve the right to refuse service for any reason.
